Independent patient coordination

China Medical Guides
Your Gateway to Top China Hospitals

CMG is a one-stop cross-border medical travel platform for international patients. We are not a hospital — we coordinate your care in China. We charge a flat service fee only; your medical fees are paid directly to the hospital, and we never touch treatment funds.

How it works

Take the first step — we guide you through the rest.

Eight steps, from the first record you send to the follow-up after you fly home. We do the coordination; licensed hospitals treat.

Reference figures

China, in numbers

How fast you get an answer, and what it costs, in one place. Each row is a procedure fee only — it excludes the ward stay, medication and imaging around it. For all-in treatment totals and the itemised breakdown, see the cost guide.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions patients actually ask us. Nothing here is medical advice.

Is it actually safe to have treatment in China?

At the top tier, yes. All 35 hospitals we work with are Grade 3A public hospitals with a named international department, and their department heads have often trained or practised at leading institutions in the US, Europe or Japan.

Outside that tier the variation is enormous, and it is not visible from the outside. Grade 3A is China's highest tier, and accreditation is a floor rather than a guarantee. We tell you which hospital and which named doctor we would approach, and why — and we encourage you to verify credentials and ask questions before you decide.

What if you decide China is not right for me?

We tell you in writing, and you pay nothing. The initial assessment is free and carries no obligation.

Some cases genuinely should stay at home: a condition needing years of coordinated follow-up, a surgeon you already know and trust, or a health system that will cover you properly. We would rather lose a booking than have you travel for something we could not improve.

How quickly can I see a doctor?

Typically: records reviewed within one business day, a hospital answer within two to four business days, and a first appointment one to two weeks after you confirm. Complex multidisciplinary cases take longer.

Urgent cases can often be expedited — tell us your deadline directly.

What happens if something goes wrong after I fly home?

This is the risk that matters most in medical travel, and most coordinators do not talk about it. Before you leave, the hospital provides a bilingual discharge summary and follow-up plan your own doctor can work from.

We schedule remote follow-up after you return, and the hospital's international department can be reached about medication or complications. For complex recovery we can coordinate a longer stay nearby before you fly. What we cannot do is promise a medical outcome — nobody can.

Our honest position

What we will not do

Medical travel attracts exaggeration. These are the six commitments we hold ourselves to, and the ones you can hold us to.

We are not a hospital or a clinic

We coordinate logistics, appointments and translation. Every diagnosis and every treatment decision is made by licensed physicians at the treating hospital.

Zero marked-up medical fees

You pay the hospital's own official international-department rate — the same number a self-paying local patient sees. Our fee is separate, flat and shown up front.

Independent editorial

Our hospital profiles and articles are written by our own editorial team. Hospitals cannot pay for placement, rankings, or a better write-up.

Nothing here is medical advice

We publish general information about access, cost and process. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or tell you which treatment to choose.

No outcome guarantees

Any service that promises a result is not being honest with you. We tell you the reference range, the risks, and what we cannot control.

Your data, your control

Records you send us are shared only with the hospitals you approve, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Ready to start your health journey?

Send us your records and tell us what you are trying to solve. A coordinator replies within one business day with a proposed hospital, a named specialist, and a written cost range — before you pay anything.
